Lakewood Charity Poker Tournament
The Lakewood Neighborhood Association invites all residents (men & women) and their friends to come and play in a Charity Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament on Wednesday, April 16.
This fundraiser will benefit the beautification efforts of our neighborhood.
Times Ten Cellars, 6324 Prospect Avenue (www.timestencellars.com).
6:00pm – Doors open for food, beverages & registration
7:00pm – Tournament starts promptly
10:00pm – Tournament conclusion
$100.00 initial donation (provides $3000 in play poker chips).
$50.00 re-donation allowed (gives you additional $2000 in play poker chips) within first hour of play
The final 10 players remaining in the tournament will be eligible to draw from our table of prizes, including a 42" HDTV flatscreen TV. Other prizes (as of this writing) include a customized poker table, 2 free tickets to any future Dallas Symphony concert, a wine tasting for 40 at Tony's Wine Bistro, a fabulous & generous imported beer basket from World Beer Company, and more.
If you run out of chips and don’t make it to the final table, yet still want to play, for a $20 donation we’ll have individual side-table tournaments for consolation prizes.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks provided for free.
This charitable event allows the Lakewood Neighborhood Association to continue our beautification efforts in our external medians and parkways.
If you a business owner and looking to promote your business within our community, then you can sponsor a table. For a $300 donation, we will place signage around each chair with your business name and contact information around the table you sponsor, for all players and passers by to see. Additionally, you will be allowed to place literature in our party favor bags we'll pass out to all those in attendance. Finally, you will be mentioned in a full page ad in our Lakewood Life newsletter, which goes out to all of our 3,000 households.
