The Wilshire Heights Neighborhood Association plans a community yard sale starting at 8 a.m. and lasting until 2 p.m. May 17.
The event benefits the association, and multiple families from the neighborhood will contribute lightly used items such as clothing, furniture, appliances, books, and children and baby goods.
The sale takes place at 6110 McCommas Blvd., at the Skillman Street intersection.
As an added bonus, the association will have a bake sale during the yard sale, plus face-painters will be on hand for the kids.

When you finish there stop by 5929 Bryan Pkwy. (2nd from the corner of Live Oak) for some other awesome treasures. There are 4 people participating in our yard sale. We won't have face panting, but I can make my friend Crystal do a little jig for you.
