A White Rock mansion serves as the site for this year's Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Thomas Aquinas Church fundraiser.

The event raises money to help disadvantaged people, regardless of their religious beliefs or affiliations, with short term assistance including food, rent, and utilities.

The society's third annual fundraiser features dinner, dancing and an auction. Hunter Sullivan provides the entertainment.

This year's honorary chair is celebrity chef Tre Wilcox, former chef de cuisine of Abacus, who rose to national fame as a contestant on Bravo's "Top Chef" last season.

The event takes place May 10. Tickets cost $100 if purchased before May 8 and $125 at the door.
