It is pretty funny to me that seemingly every day I open the paper or look through local publications I see a storm being made out of the whole "Choose Woodrow" campaign.
Whether it is labeling parents racists, running out an endless stream of statistics, or taking aim at the school principal, I can't help but shake my head. Why? Because, the people writing those stories have absolutely no idea what is going on.
I have walked through the doors of Woodrow at least 700 times. How many times has Rod Dreher?
I was in the school just today. How about some of these alumni and parents?
A more accurate question, for many of these people, is how recently have you been in the school? It is because of this that I have problems with both sides because each wishes to provide a view that, in a nutshell, is not really accurate.
