The second of five concerts in the Spring of Harmony chamber music series features a soprano and bass voice recital with a sidedish of Boy Scout fundraising.
The event starts at 5 p.m. May 3 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The recital includes compositions by Mozart, Donizetti, and Mendelssohn.
At 5:30 p.m. in the church's Nance Fellowship Hall, local Boy Scouts dish up a spaghetti dinner until 8 p.m. to raise money for future activities.
The evening vocal performance spotlights soprano Francesca Placanica and bass Christiaan Bester performing familiar works, including duets from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute.
