Reader David Aspinall emailed us and said, "I'd like to know what's going in at the northwest corner of Abrams and Richmond."

The site David refers to is just south of the Cafe Brazil/Lakewood Furniture Co. site where Wachovia bank plans to build, according to a presentation at a recent Lakewood Neighborhood Association meeting. 

We called CDC, a Dallas real estate company whose phone number is on the sign.

They are planning a small retail strip, about 4,500 square feet, that would accommodate two to four tenants. They have been fielding both local and national calls from interested parties, but it is way too soon to say what will go in there or when.
